About Me
I became the therapist I needed — because for a long time, I couldn't find her.
For decades I moved through the world knowing something was different about me. I built a career, raised a family, showed up for everyone around me — and quietly wondered why so much of it felt harder than it seemed to for everyone else. It wasn't until my 40s that I got answers. A late neurodivergence diagnosis didn't change who I was. It explained everything.
I also know what it's like to be at war with your own body. My personal history with eating disorders isn't something I hide. It's part of why I can sit with you in that particular darkness without flinching, and why I know that real recovery is possible.
These experiences don't just inform how I practice. They are why I practice.
How I Work
I bring over 20 years of clinical experience to work that is trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming, and genuinely collaborative. I don't do cookie-cutter treatment or toxic positivity. I do real, honest, sometimes uncomfortable, ultimately liberating work, at a pace that respects your nervous system.
My approach integrates EMDR, IFS, somatic and polyvagal-informed techniques, DBT, narrative therapy, and trauma-informed yoga. I work with the whole person, not just the presenting problem.
I specialize in eating disorders, neurodivergence, and complex trauma, and the places where all three intersect. I also offer clinical supervision for MSW residents and coaching for people who are ready to take action toward a life that actually fits them.

A little more about me
When I'm not in session I'm probably with my three teenagers, my mini goldendoodle Moose, or working on my pull-ups. I practice what I preach when it comes to nervous system regulation — imperfectly and persistently.
I believe the therapeutic relationship is the most powerful tool in the room. I show up as a real human being, not a blank slate. My clients know I'm in their corner.
